Getting Around
Guests visiting Austin during Texas Relays weekend are encouraged to use Capital Metro, the city's fast and efficient public transportation service. The shuttle stops are frequent, excellent value (FREE) and easy to use. To make sure you get the most out of your ride, we have a few guidelines, some basic rules and several suggestions. Note: Capital Metro offers a variety of accessible fixed-route bus, commuter bus, 'Dillo and minibus services throughout the service area for senior citizens and riders with disabilities.
Free and Paid
There is EXTREMELY limited parking available within walking distance of the Shores. We STRONGLY encourage you to park away from downtown and ride the Starlight ‘Dillo FREE to the Urban Music Festival. If your main objective this weekend is to take in the track and field events at UT and then come down to UMF after that - there are numerous parking garages and options for parking around the UT Campus.
